Terrestre, a Member of Design Hotels

The hotel is an architectural gem, absolutely stunning, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. There are many facilities compared to the very limited number of rooms, which creates a rare sense of privacy and exclusivity. Since the hotel wasn’t fully booked, it often felt like we had it all to ourselves. The saltwater pool is wonderful, and the private beach access is a real plus. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, and the service was flawless. The team was incredibly flexible and accommodating when our flight was canceled and later when road closures made access to the hotel difficult. The same goes for check-in and check-out, which were handled with great flexibility.

The design is breathtaking, I can’t recommend this incredible hotel enough. The minimalist style, the beautiful location, the rooms are so relaxing. You truly feel like you’re in another world. I spent 6 nights here solo after my boyfriend went back to London for work and I wish I could have stayed longer. The beach was so private and the whole experience was 10/10. I have stayed at a lot of Mr and Mrs Smith hotels and this has to be my favourite. If you like understated luxury, bohemian living and brutally beautiful architecture, this is for you.

Very calm and comfortable hotel. Spot is absolutely private, rustic and relaxing. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, in the middle of nature, can hear animals at night as well as the waves which is amazing. We had no issue with mosquitoes or bugs, also, aircon is not required. Staff and helpful and nice, facilities are great, the beach is virgin and gorgeous (not great for swimming but there is a pool). Rooms are clean and beautiful.

Amazing property, well maintained and close to nature. It is away from the city so it is more for staycation or relaxation. but if you want to go out, the hotel staff can arrange for transport/ excursions. the spa/ sauna is really good and also a beautiful beach is right across the road.

Everything was really beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable, the private terrace and pool were amazing. I especially loved the outdoor shower. The food was fresh and delicious, plenty of healthy or decadent options at Breakfast and Lunch. Dinner is a set menu with with vegetarian option, and it was equally delicious. This is a place for relaxing in nature. I was outside all day, I read books, I swam laps in the pool, I did yoga on the terrace every morning (the hotel lent me a yoga mat), and we went for sunset walks on the beach every evening. The massages were also great! This was exactly what I needed! This is not a hotel filled with drunks by the pool. The staff was so kind and attentive. This is luxury and yet not gluttonous at all.
